Allyson Felix
Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athlete of the highest level and discovered her love of sprinting while in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion in running 200m. The following year, she won the title against her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed in the top three of athletes in her respective events.
